To work for a training providing organisation. To establish and maintain an effective quality improvement system for teaching, learning and monitoring. To ensure that quality and customer service is consistent throughout the organisation in line with contractual and business plans. To make recommendations for improvements and changes when necessary and facilitate good quality improvement in all aspects of the business.
Main duties and responsibilites:
To co-ordinate the self-assessment process, write the annualy self assessment report and development plan to the standards required by Ofsted and the Learning & Skills Council
To monitor progress against targets on a monthly basis, using MIS statistics relating to occupancy, retention and achievement, positive outcome rates etc
To draw up and publish on an annual basis a quality improvement planning schedule listing the activities to be addressed during the year to ensure good quality improvement.
Ensure that all activities published on the quality improvement planning schedule are addressed accordingly in order to promote good quality improvement.
To ensure that all observers are fully trained in order to conduct and report effectively on activities observed.
To convene and chair Observation moderation meetings as required.
You must have a background in education, preferably Further Education, experience in observation in the classroom, giving feedback and staff training. Self assessment report writing would be useful as would be experience of policies and procedures, preferably writing them. Hours are 8.45-5pm and holidays are in excess of five week.
