    Support & Control Team Leader

    Chelmsford

    £28,000 - £32,000


    This is a permanent full time position based in Chelmsford with a large Investment company. As Support and Control Team Leader you will report to the Support and Control Manager and will help ensure that the support and control team runs smoothly.


    You will be part of the Support and Control team which is responsible for; central reporting, supporting and controlling framework, business continuity co-ordination / liaising, suspicious activity controls, regulatory impact, risk register and overseeing maintenance of BAU procedures across retail operations.


    The successful applicant will be responsible for:

    • Conducting appraisals, objectives, 1-2-1’s and development plans for team members
    • Acting as a back up for the Support and Control Manager when they are out of the office – this includes attending meetings, producing and signing off relevant MI or other relevant documentation
    • Managing and prioritising own and team workload
    • Maintaining, updating and devising management information reports
    • Acting as a role model for the team members

    My client is looking for someone with previous team leader / supervisory experience who has a similar support and control background. You will need to have strong organisation skills, be able to show a high level of understanding of change control processes and project lifecycle and must be capable of leading a time by example. The ideal candidate for this position will have a positive can do attitude and will be capable of thinking outside of the box when required. Please note you will also need strong MS Excel and Access skills.
