We have a new opportunity to join the expanding team of international client as a credit controller.
Role & responsibilities:
Working within a team of 7 you will be responsible for managing a ledger of claims and contractors ensuring that all aged debt is recovered in accordance with the companies time lines and procedures.
Once you have completed all current aged debtors you will looking at future claims on ledger and ensuring that they do not reach an aged debt status.
Within the role you will be working to targets with relation to % of debt collected monthly and ensuring that all debts are called and status is moved on, on a weekly basis.
You will be collecting debt from our Insurance clients, resolving queries, allocating payments, coupled with working from an aged debt to meet collection and calling targets. Once established within your role, we would encourage you obtain a thorough knowledge of your allocated accounts whilst creating and maintaining an excellent working relationship with your clients.
You will work closely with your line manager to review your ledger and discuss ways of improving control of your ledger case by case.
You will have/will be:
Previous Credit Control experience - essential
Proven negotiation skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills via all appropriate media
Able to work to targets, is self motivated, focused, assertive and able to work in a team.
Experience in dealing with Blue chip is advantageous.
