My client is a leading financial services company based in Chelmsford Essex. Over the last six years they have worked hard to establish themselves at the front of the UK investment scene. They currently offer one of the UK’s largest fund selections and are one of the largest administers of all ISA business, life and pensions products.
They currently have a vacancy for a proven team player with strong analytical and communication skills. As Support and Control Analyst you will be responsible for MI / Management Information reporting and small desktop application support and development. Included in this you will have additional project work to help support the back office finance processes.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
High level of technical understanding of relational databases
Very good technical knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access
Good / basic technical knowledge of SQL
Be results driven and be able to challenge current processes and procedures
Possess good analytical skills
The successful applicant is likely to have a financial services background with experience of working in a similar position. You will need to have good interpersonal skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and strong analysis skills.
