This is a brand new permanent full time position working for a large financial services company based in the heart of Chelmsford. As an Analyst Programmer you will be responsible for delivering low risk enhancements outside of my client’s full programme delivery.
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following technical skills:
• Proven experience of SQL development (preferably on SQL server)
• Proven experience of .Net development, a sound knowledge of development using C# in particular
• Strong understanding of data modelling; ability to create and modify database designs
• Experienced in the production of Technical Designs
• Good understanding of XML and its use, technical architectures, n-tier, databases and internet transactions
• Awareness of Unit Trusts and other financial products
• Proven experience of Source Code control and configuration management
In addition to the above technical skills the successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills, be a good team player and have the ability to see the big picture and think laterally.
As Analyst Programmer your three main responsibilities will be conducting system analysis, delivering technical solutions and providing IT support.
