    Account Manager

    Epping

    £25k - £35k


    My client is a successful travel/tourism company currently based in Harlow, but soon to relocate to Epping. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage their existing clients.


    Successful candidates will have the following attributes:

     Successful and proven track record in achieving an excellent level of profit
     Accomplished communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
     High degree of commercial/business acumen with excellent persuasive powers
     A dynamic self starter showing confidence and initiative
     Pro-active in developing accounts and growing potential clients
     Has a thorough understanding of the wholesale marketplace
     Target driven with the ability to delegate effectively
     Excellent organisational skills

    The role itself is very involved, and a background in relationship management within the travel/tourism industry is essential.


    Duties include:

     Responsible for profitable development and growth of client accounts within the wholesale market, ensuring that the company furthers its position and grows sales year on year.
     Responsible for seeking out and growing new accounts as well as nurturing up and coming clients
     Provides regular product feedback to develop existing and new product ideas
     Working pro-actively with clients accounts to improve tour realization and reduce cancellation levels.
     Ensure that the company delivers an excellent level of customer service from sales stage through to tour realisation.
     Maintain and where necessary improve profit margins and realisation levels.
     Achieve, and where possible, exceed annual individual GTP targets
     Attend and promote the companies products at applicable trade shows/events in the UK
     Accompany clients on product specific trips/events to develop sales and promote client loyalty
     Be involved in the development of client promotional activities and familiarisation trips and to run these where applicable.
