Temp to Perm Warehouse Operative
£5.52ph + possible overtime at time and a half
Rotating Shifts are 06.30-14.00 & 14.00-21.30
Witham
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team within a successful organisation.
The type of work you will be doing involves:
Manual handling (lifting of systems, monitors, printers etc from a pallet on the floor onto a bench for testing)
Testing of computer equipment (using in house software, PAT testing for electrical safety, the main function is to data wipe from customer equipment, again using in house software, full training will be given)
Dismantling IT equipment where required to get ready for disposal
Data Entry (all items that are tested have specific details entered onto an in house database, basic keyboard skills are an advantage, again, full training will be given)
Wrapping of pallets (all items that are tested are then re-palletised and moved into a different department, before the pallet is moved it is re-wrapped)
Cleaning and boxing of equipment and loading and wrapping of pallets in preparation for dispatch
Able to work well as part of a team, supervised and unsupervised (once trained adequately)
This role does not involve using the latest cutting edge technology, but requires the use of hardware computer skills and some basic data inputting.
Due to data protection for this role we require proof of residence for the last 3 years (recent bank statement, no more than 3 months old) and one from 3 years ago i.e utility bills (no mobile phone bills) & the last 2 years of work references or contact details.
