This is a great opportunity for a graduate with some administration experience to start their career within HR. My client an information management company based in Basildon is looking for someone to join them initially on a six month maternity cover contract.
As Human Resources Administrator you join a busy Human Resources department where you will be expected to provide a timely and accurate support service to the HR Manager. Specific duties will include:
• Liaising with Recruitment Agencies and Line Managers to arrange interviews for candidates
• Raising contracts and offer letters
• Obtaining references for staff joining the company
• Assisting the HR Manager in preparing internal training courses
• Managing the processing of weekly timesheets for casual staff
• Arranging pension meetings for staff with the brokers
• Maintaining staff records, producing monthly reports for sickness
• Providing ex-employee references
My client is looking for someone with experience of MS Word and Excel with GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English. You should also be conscientious, methodical, organised and pro active.
