| Production Manager – Nightshift Chelmsford Up to £32,000 + Shift Allowance of 12% I am looking for a Production Manager with strong people management skills and previous supervisory experience to join my client in Chelmsford. This is a permanent full time position covering the nightshift which involves working Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am. The position offers the successful candidate a salary of up to £30,000 plus a shift allowance of 12%. As Production Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of 15 – 20 operations, print, stock and enclosing staff ensuring that all correspondence mailings and supported requirements are met in a timely manner. Other responsibilities will include training new members of staff, prioritising, scheduling and managing all print and despatch requirements, building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers, supplying, monitoring and reporting all daily figures and volumes and ensuring effective management of staff, headcount and departmental budget. To be considered for this position for this position you will need to have: • Good understanding of MS Office, particularly Excel • The ability to analyse and appraise work • Previous supervisory experience • Experience of working within a busy mail / despatch environment • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with direct supervision This is a great opportunity for someone with mail, despatch or output management experience.
