Financial controller urgently required for wholesale company with a turnover of circa £8m. Supervisory experience is required, CIMA preferred but not essential, Sage preferred, Excellent skills in Excel essential. Knowledge of retail trade would be an advantage. Reporting to the Managing Director, preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of annual budget, responsible for monthly payroll (external bureau) and in house weekly payroll, Overseeing bought and sales ledgers, petty cash, VAT returns. Running of month end procedures (3 hours out of hours), supervision of accounts team (2 full time staff and one part time). Based Southend on Sea area.
