Human Resources Officer
Southend, £30,000 - £37,000

My client, a successful and ever expanding travel company based centrally within Southend, are urgently looking for an experienced HR Officer. Reporting into the MD, you will be responsible for overseeing all Human Resources functions within the company. Currently employing approximately 50 staff, this company is going through a period of sustained growth. As such, it is an exciting time to join them and as this is a new position, there is a genuine opportunity to have an impact on how this growth happens.

As HR Officer, you will have responsibility for the following areas:

• Managing HR projects
• Health & Safety policies
• Strategic business plans
• Contract administration
• Training and Development

As a small team, you will at times be expected to get involved at ground level in raising contracts, processing payroll and administering starters/leavers. The company has a general work hard / play hard attitude and you will be expected to work as a team with both the HR department and senior management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person. Ideally you will have experience of working as an HR Officer in a medium sized company, be CIPD qualified and bring enthusiasm and energy to your next post.
