Human Resources Administrator

Six Month Temp position
£15,000 - £18,500
My client is a well established and respected insurance company based centrally within Chelmsford. They are looking for experienced HR Administrator to join them on a six month temporary contract. The position is based within a busy Human Resources Department and requires someone with strong administration skills.
As Human Resources Administrator you will be required to provide a timely and accurate support service to the HR team in order to meet the department’s key objectives. You will also need to liaise extensively with the HR team as well as Directors, Senior Managers, Line Managers and staff and therefore it is essential that you have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ideally you will have previous Human Resources Administration experience and have an assertive and organised approach to your work. You will need to possess good computer skills and be capable of working as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
Your main duties will include;
o Meeting and greeting candidates on arrival at the office and talking them through the necessary paperwork to be completed
o Raising contracts and offer letters under the supervision of the HR Manager
o Requesting references for staff joining the business
o Assisting the HR Manager in preparing internal training courses
o Maintaining staff records on HR database (Select HR)
o Producing monthly management reports (sickness, recruitment etc)
o Processing and tracking expense claims
o Managing petty cash and processing paperwork
