Purpose of the role:
Carrying out the overall strategy outlined by the Sales Office Manager to lead and motivate the Tele-Marketing Team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they deliver against all outlined targets and objectives where possible, while effectively delivering pro-active outbound calls
Responsiblities day to day :
To manage all direct reports within the Tele-Marketing Team, endeavouring to maximise their day-to-day effectiveness in order to help them achieve targets
Collate and report Tele-Marketing results on a monthly basis or when required on an ad-hoc basis
Motivate and lead the other members of the Tele-Marketing team
Resolve any customer complaints or issues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring to represent the Youngman brand in a professional manner at all times.
Lead weekly Tele-Marketing Team meetings
Play a key role in deciding the promotional product focus and pricing strategy, representing the views of the other members of the Tele-Marketing Team
Build strong relationships with the sales & marketing functions within the business, along with all other sales office personnel
Pro-actively make outward bound calls to generate new business, develop current business and recover lapsed businessProcess and progress all orders received via telephone, fax, email and verbally
The Tele-Marketing Team Leader may be required to carry out reasonable, additional or alternative duties from time to time to ensure the efficient functioning of the company
For the role we are seeking a canidate who has a professional and courteous approch with the alblity to communicate effectivey via verbal and written communication, A candidate who is driven to achieve with an enthusistic approuch.
Although operating as a team leader, a hand`s on approach to managing a call cycle of their own on a day-to-day basis is required.
Pays attention to detail with regards to all reports generated and has the necessary organisational skills to effectively lead the team and manage own call cycle.
A good telephone manner, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative. Good keyboard skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Essentially candidates will require the following:
Experience of managing a Tele-Marketing function and direct reports
Experience in a Tele-Marketing/outward bound calls environment
Internal and external conflict management & resolution
Desirable extra qualifications, skills or experience:
Knowledge of the Construction Industry and it`s various sectors including Builders Merchants, Decorators Merchants and Specialist Distributors
Seeking career progression
Exposure to commercial decisions such as pricing
Communicating with various levels of management and key stakeholders
