Job Description
TEK Consultants are recruiting on a Contract basis for a Signalling Project Engineer within the Rail Industry.
You will be required to implement efficient delivery of signalling and electrification renewal and enhancement projects.
Applicants must have relevant experience in rail signal engineering design experience.
Qualified to HNC / HND or equivalent GNVQ level.
Quality Assurance experience. QA.
Working knowledge of CDM (Construction Design Management).
Able to work effectively within a team environment.
Main Responsibilities will be to,
Monitor specific projects, to ensure engineering is to standards and specification.
Management of engineering activities, to achieve cost effective results that meet programme, safety and environmental requirements.
Monitor signalling design, together with specialist consultants and contractors.
Provide project management advice in respect of all construction activities, including testing and commissioning and site supervision.
Management of the projects to ensure that all requirements of current legislation and construction design management regulations are met.
Audits contractors to effectively monitor safety, environment, design quality, construction and testing.
