Job Description
Equal Experts is a niche consultancy that delivers its services through our network of associates, all freelance consultants. We recruit the best and the brightest in the industry, like-minded experts that want to learn from each other and work together to deliver the most outstanding solutions to their clients. These developments are run following the Agile methods and technical practices.
EqualExperts two main activities are Delivery and Staff Augmentation & Coaching. In Delivery, we have total control and responsibility over the delivery ofour projects. In Staff Augmentation & Coaching, we help existing teams to deliver more efficiently by improving their implementation of Agile. In both instance we invest a lot of our time to steer each engagement and to build long term relationships with our Customers. This is because it is essential to us to be able to support our associates at the same time as ensuring the best level of service is being delivered.
We are now recruiting new associates for our latest opportunities in Investment Banking, E-Commerce, Retail, Telecommunications, and HealthCare. Prior domain experience is not required which makes this ideal for anyone interested in getting introduced into these verticals.
What we need from you:
You must be at the top of your game, both in terms of technical expertise andindustry-awareness. You should possess the following qualities:
- A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in building enterprise-class Java and/or .NET (C#) applications. You will have been involved with all aspects of software delivery and lifecycle, including programming (client-side, server-side and database), architecture, build and release management, software configuration management, team-leading and quality assurance
- You will have expertise with open-source tools, frameworks and platforms and constantly strive to be ahead of the curve
- You will be pragmatic at all times, whilst retaining an awareness of the bigger picture
- You will have your own opinions about how to build great software and be prepared to defend them
- You have successfully applied Agile/XP/Scrum development techniques, including iterative development, continuous integration, test-driven development and pair-programming. You may even have introduced Agile techniques and have coached teams to apply them effectively, thanks to your Agile expertise and outstanding communication skills
- Your technical experience should cover some of the following:
J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSP, Servlets,Struts/Stripes, XML, HTML, Javascript, Ajax, Flex, Web Services, Oracle, MySQL,Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, SOA, Domain Driven Design, JUnit, JMock, Selenium, HTTPUnit, Eclipse, intelli J, CruiseControl, Team City, Subversion, CVS, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, NUnit, Selenium, Web Driver, SQL Server, DBDeploy, NUnit Forms, FIT
