A leading and expanding Insurer with a reputation for quality throughout their business is looking to recruit a Quality Management Technician.
The role:
To review Operational procedures and processes in order to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the controls put in place to mitigate the impact of all risks and to assist in the maintenance of the ISO accreditation. Recommend improvements and review the resultant actions.

Main responsibilities:
1. Conduct monthly reviews for the underwriting and claims departments to ensure procedures are being adhered to
2. Assist in the delivery of ongoing reviews in order to enable best practice within the organisation
3. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings of the reviews to comprehensively monitor and review performance
4. Assist with monitoring management actions to ensure that the issues arising from internal audits and reviews are resolved
5. Make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and procedures to ensure exposures are recognised and risks managed

The successful candidate will have:

a. Knowledge of insurance practices (motor underwriting and claims advantageous)
b. Excellent administration skills and MS Office knowledge
c. Ability to plan, achieve tight deadlines and follow procedures
d. Negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills
