Business Systems Analyst
Basildon
£28,000 - £35,000 + benefits
A large corporate company based in Basildon is currently looking to recruit a Business Systems Analyst. This is a permanent full time position offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000 plus pension, life insurance and overtime.
Working as part of a small team within the Information Technology department you will be responsible for supporting business processes through the provision of Business Systems development, enhancement and support. You will need to be experienced in dealing with customers, be able to understand and assist the development of the relevant business processes and be capable of aligning the business systems to support these processes.
You will need to have an analytical mindset, at least two years experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing or production based business environment and have experience of SAP, SQL and crystal reports. You should also be well organised, innovative and a real team player.
Main duties for these positions will include:
Understanding business systems processes and how the business systems support these. Assisting with the design of new processes and modification of existing processes to improve performance
Help users with queries, resolve issues and be the user interface to software suppliers, reporting bugs / faults
Working with customers to generate new reports and maintain existing reports in SQL reporting services, Crystal Reports and occasionally MS Excel
Helping to maintain and develop the Intranet
