Our client are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Trainer to join their dynamic and expanding team at the college. You will be working with 14-19 year old learners, you should be able to engage disaffected youth learners in improving their industry skills.
You must have experience of working within the Hair & Beauty industry;
Experience in delivering Hair and Beauty Training;
Empathy and ability to work with the client group;
Hold relevant assessor qualifications (A units and/or V units)
A teaching qualification would be an advantage.
The course being delivered is the "Level 1 Certificate in Salon Services" specialising in Beauty Therapy. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills and be comfortable in developing and delivering training in all aspects of the industry including:
"Finding out about customer service"
"Basic salon reception duties"
"Personal Presentation"
"Following Health & Safety Practice"
"Introduction to Hairdressing Services"
Introduction to Basic Perming and Colouring"
"Applying Basic Make up";
"Providing Basic Manicure";
"Industry and Occupation Awareness"
Commencing salary is between £18,000 and £24,000 per annum
