    To work within the Analogue Audio and Power Management group on our client's analogue audio circuitry in order to advance existing and develop new designs in line with the requirements as specified by our customers and marketing.
    To specify toplevel audio systems and define specifications for subcells and work together with other designers to decide on the optimum architectures of the whole system as well as of the individual subcells.
    To carry out the designs of such subcells, as required, on transistor and physical level.

    MAIN DUTIES:- To research, define and create toplevel system architecture for CSR's future audio systems.- To define and specify transistor-level implementations of individual subcells of such systems.- To oversee the transistor-level implementation of such subcells by other designers.- Carry out transistor-level design of any subcells of such audio systems.- Carry out physical implementation of such cells, including verification, parasitic extraction and resimulation as well some silicon characterization and any rework which may be required as result thereof.- To review any transistor-level or physical design of any subcells done by others to ensure the required specifications are being met.


    SKILLS:- Extensive knowledge and experience in transistor-level design of deep-submicron analogue integrated circuits such as continuous-time and switched-capacitor filters, opamps, data converters etc. - Experience of physical implementation and verification of deep-submicron CMOS circuitry, including parasitic extraction- Good knowledge of low-noise and low-power design techniques. - Some experience in defining system toplevels and deriving individual cell-specifications of the subcells of such systems.- Knowledge and understanding of deep-submicron CMOS technology and its limitations. - Experience in the characterization of analogue integrated circuits would be useful.- Good team player and ability to coach other designers. - Knowledge of audio circuit applications and digital audio design would be useful but is not a must-have.- Educated to a graduate level or equivalent experience. - Good interpersonal and communication skills.
