Our client is looking for an electrical/electronics test technician who will be responsible for testing products such as completed instruments, systems and individual PCB's, following standard procedures. You will load and test the relevant standard software to meet specific customer orders and log and maintain accurate and accessible test records. You will liaise with the assembly team to maintain quality standards and meet the production schedule and will fault find at component level. You will also have some mechancial experience as there will be some build work required. You must ensure test equipment is correctly calibrated and you must maintain good stock control. Despite the reasonably advanced duties of this role, the client is looking for a candidate that they can train and will develop into the role. Formal qualifications are not essential although some electrical test or standards training would be useful.
