You will be responsible for foundry design rules file (DRC), and device recognition file (LVS/XRC), installation and performance testing including automation. You will ensure the quality of run sets to guarantee consistency across process nodes, provide technical assistance to analogue/RF IC circuit and layout designers with process verification issues. You should have a Masters/Bachelors degree in physics, computer science, electrical or electronic engineering. You should also have experience of supporting back-end verification tools and computer programming skills and be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following skills: 4+ years relevant experience, understanding the circuit design needs associated with deep sub-micron processes, back-end verification, experience in gdsii layer manipulation, p-cell design and xRC netlisting /simulation is desirable. Semiconductor process integration knowledge is an advantage. Programming languages will include - C, Perl for data structures, geometry, graphics, parsing and string manipulation, Unix shell scripting, Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems. In addition to the above, candidates are expected to have excellent written & communication skills and be a self-starter.
