    We have a new and exciting opportunity to join the European market Leader within their field as a Bid Co-ordinator.

    The purpose of the role:
    To support the sales team develop and win new business.

    Reporting to the head of sales you will be responsible for providing administration and bid support within the sales department. With the support of senior management you will work closely with the business development managers performing a broad range of tasks to meet the objective of developing and winning business with both new and existing clients. Tasks include responding to tenders, sales process definition, quality system and procedures, CRM tool administration, website development, designing new propositions and working closely with internal departments.
    Whilst predominantly office based, the role will require supplier and customer interface both on and off-site. In many cases this will be supporting the business development manager on a specific opportunity.

    This appointment demands someone who has the aptitude to learn quickly and develop their knowledge to consistently deliver the right solution on time. The role requires someone who has excellent communication skills, logical approach, highly numerate and attention to detail. It is expected you will have practical problem solving and organisation skills and can work equally effective with or without guidance where required. Flexibility to travel including working out of normal hours may at times be necessary.

    The ideal candidate will be of educated to degree level, have excellent verbal and written English skills, a good knowledge in the use of common IT applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Visio. Additional training will be provided to develop IT skills. The ability to work within a team and manage time effectively is essential.
