    A new opportunity has risen with our expanding Witham based client to join there customer services team as a Customer Service Advisor on a 12 month Maternity contract.

    The role :

    Comprehensively understand the companies extensive product range and proactively maximise all sales opportunities, by cross and up selling

    Work to achieve pre-agreed sales and growth targets

    Undertake continuous product training internally and externally

    Undertake proactive marketing initiatives to grow the sales; i.e. via telemarketing, working on lapsed accounts, generation and follow up of new prospects, cross selling to existing and new customers across the companies product range.

    Process all leads, catalogues and sample requests from marketing campaigns.

    Participate in specific projects and proactive activities as required and directed

    The preparation and follow up of sales quotations from enquiries

    Ensure all daily targets are completed i.e. All Orders processed and filed, enquiries answered, telephones answered professionally

    Provide pro-active care to key accounts, monitor their orders, ensure regular customer contact and attempt to cross sell wherever possible other products via promotions or self discipline

    Maintain accurate customer records and participate in regular housekeeping as required

    Manage customer concerns and complaints effectively to minimise the effect on the customer and any resulting cost to the company with minimal credit notes

    Make realistic customer commitments, follow through each transaction to full completion and keep the customer and other internal departments informed at all times
    Operate effectively within current policies and procedures relating to pricing, order entry, complaint handling and telephone enquiry handling

    Develop effective working relationships with other team members, internal departments and sister companies.

    Participate in team briefings and communicate with team leader and other team members to address issues and develop a wider range of skills, and specific projects as requested and directed

    Personal attributes required:

    Effective communicator both orally and in writing

    ability to develop commercial awareness

    Creative problem solving skills

    Team player, willing to adapt to new challenges

    Excellent attention to detail and accurate key board skills

    Enthusiastic attitude and quick learner

    1 years experience within a similar role is essential.
